HOW TO CHOOSE …. THE RIGHT CARRIER?
21/08/2019
Considering the situation on the market, most of the customers would say that the price is most important. It is clear that pirce is one of important factors. It determins the profitability of the products, and if that cost is to high, it can absorb all the margin, making the transaction pointless. But the quesiton is, is a price the only factor that counts? I hope that at last part of the compannies know what factors pay attention to.
For those who do not know, I am rushing to help.
- Company experience.
It seems to be clear that compannies which are on the market above two years are more trustworthy than the compannies wich exists two months. It is recommended to check how much experience our potential carrier has. Transport exchanges require a grace period before they give access to new carriers. The important thing is to check if the company has had a break in its operations. Buying freight companies with history is practiced by scammers. In that case most probably our goods will not be delivered.
We will organize any
transport in 45 minutes
or less
Our employee will quickly prepare a specific offer, and after its acceptance, they will personally ensure that nothing will prevent the delivery at the agreed time.
Unexpected orders do not surprise us because we are well-prepared.
- Required licenses
The road carriage of goods is possible only after obtaining the appropriate license. Such license is not required when the carrier only uses a fleet of up to 3.5 tons of gross vehicle weight. We can distinguish the license for domestic transport and international transport. Another step is to check if the license is valid and whether it has not been withdrawn, for example due to the loss of good reputation of the person managing the transport.
- Carrier liability insurance
If we like gambling, we can ignore the verification of this document, but I think it would be nice to receive compensation in the event of unforeseen circumstances. That is why the carrier liability insurance is so important. What is important in that insurence form the poinf of view of the client? Definitely expiration date, insurance value, territorial range, exclusions and special conditions. It seems logical that we will not entrust our goods sent for example to Germany, to a carrier with domestic transportation insurance, or when the value of insurance not covering the minimum value of our goods. Not to mention the fact that some insurance policies exclude particular products form its coverage. By reading the carrier’s policy, you can avoid many problems in the future.
